NATE Certified Training at June 4th Meeting:
RectorSeal representative to discuss "Compressor Starting Problems"
Join
the Multnomah Chapter of RSES, Thursday, June 4th for a NATE recognized technical traing presentation, on "Compressor Starting Problems." A representative from RectorSeal, will dicuss the electrical and mechanical dynamics that occur in the first second of compressor motor start-up.
The goal of the presentation is to educate the HVAC technician in skills that can reduce defect warranty compressor returns.
Learn about:
- Counter EMF
- Mechanical potential relays
- 3-wire and 2-wire hard start devices
- How to test run caps
- How to do line load tests
The meeting begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Johnstone Supply training
room at 1019 Pine Street and is open to members and non-members. For more information call 503-242-1929.
